Castelnuovo-Tedesco wrote the incidental music to the narrative poem "Morning in Iowa," by Robert Nathan. The work was lost for many years until its re-discovery by guitarist Lorenzo Micheli. This premiere recording features David Knopfler, songwriter and co-founder of Dire Straits, as the poem's narrator.
